Summary

How Zacha uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the app secure and working properly.

  • Designed to keep your experience clear, safe, and transparent.
  • Explains our responsibilities and how we handle your information.
  • Helps you understand the rules for using Zacha's services.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use a web app. They help the app remember your session and preferences.

Zacha uses cookies and browser storage primarily to keep you signed in and make the app work correctly. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

These are required for the app to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking the core experience.

  • Authentication session — keeps you signed in between pages and browser refreshes
  • Security tokens — used by Supabase to verify your identity securely
  • Preference storage — remembers lightweight UI preferences such as your last-used filter
  • Cookie notice dismissal — remembers if you have acknowledged the essential cookie notice

Zacha does not currently use third-party analytics cookies. Internal usage patterns (such as which offers are viewed) are tracked in our own database linked to your account, not via third-party tracking scripts.

If analytics cookies are introduced in the future, they will only be used where consent is required and after clear notice has been provided.

Zacha does not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar tools.

If these are introduced in the future, they will only be used where consent is required and after clear notice has been provided.

If you choose to use nearby features such as “Use my location”, your browser may ask for permission to share your approximate location. This is a browser permission, not a cookie. It is used only when you choose to activate the nearby filter and is not used for advertising.

You can manage location permissions at any time through your browser or device settings. Location access is not required to browse Zacha.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View which cookies are stored
  • Delete individual cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies

Please note that if you disable essential session cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in to Zacha.

We may update this Cookie Policy as the app evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
