How we use your data

Plain English, no jargon

We only collect what we need to run Zacha. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Your profile

We use your name, email, and city to show you the right account and personalise your experience — for example, showing businesses near your city.

You can update your name and city at any time from your account settings. Your email is used only for login and cannot be changed in-app right now.

Redemptions and savings

When you redeem an offer, we record which offer and business it was for, when it happened, and how much you saved. This is how your savings history works.

Your redemption records are private to you. No other customers can see them.

Offer views and business analytics

When you open an offer, we record a view. This helps business partners understand which offers are getting attention.

Business partners see total view counts and redemption counts for their offers. They do not see which specific customers viewed or redeemed — only aggregate numbers.

What businesses can see

When a business partner confirms your redemption code, they record that the code was used. They can see the code and the time of redemption.

They cannot see your full name, email address, or any other account details. Your personal information stays private.

Feedback and support

If you submit beta feedback or report an issue, we store your message alongside your user ID so our team can follow up if needed.

This data is only seen by the Zacha team. We use it to fix problems and improve the app.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your data to businesses or third parties
  • We do not share your email or personal details with business partners
  • We do not use your data for targeted advertising outside Zacha
  • We do not track your location
