How Savings Are Tracked
A plain-English explanation of how Zacha calculates and records your savings.
Summary
A plain-English explanation of how Zacha calculates and records your savings.
- Designed to keep your experience clear, safe, and transparent.
- Explains our responsibilities and how we handle your information.
- Helps you understand the rules for using Zacha's services.
Your savings on Zacha are based on the discount amount associated with each confirmed redemption. When a business creates an offer, the discount value is part of the offer details. When you complete a redemption, the savings amount is recorded at the time of confirmation.
Savings are only counted and added to your savings total after you confirm you received the discount. This is the final step of the redemption process.
The three stages of a redemption are:
- Generated — you have a voucher code but the business has not confirmed it yet. This does not count as savings.
- Partner confirmed — the business or staff has confirmed your code. This does not yet count as confirmed savings.
- Customer confirmed — you have confirmed you received the discount. This is the only state that counts as savings.
Your savings history and totals only include customer-confirmed redemptions. Incomplete or unconfirmed redemptions are not added to your savings.
Your savings figures are based entirely on the confirmed redemption data available. Zacha does not estimate, inflate, or add savings that were not genuinely confirmed through the app. What you see in your savings history is a direct record of your completed redemptions.
If you believe a savings figure is incorrect, please report the issue through the support section of your account.
Zacha does not add sample, estimated, or promotional savings to your account. Your savings total starts at £0 and grows only as you complete real redemptions. If your savings total is £0, it means no customer-confirmed redemptions have been recorded on your account yet.
Plus members can access a monthly savings summary showing how much they have saved each month. This is based on the same confirmed redemption data described above — it is a breakdown of your total confirmed savings by month, not an estimate.
Savings by category group your confirmed redemptions by the category of the offer you redeemed (for example, Food & Drink, Retail, Health & Wellness). Categories are set by the business when creating an offer.
Zacha does not guarantee that you will save any specific amount by using the app. Savings depend entirely on the offers available, the businesses participating, and your completing the redemption process.
If you have questions about how your savings are calculated, or if you think something looks incorrect, please contact us at hello@zacha.co.uk or use the support section of your account.
